Program direction
Programs of €100M and more, from scoping to delivery: governance, budget, risk, procurement. Turnaround of distressed programs.
Program direction, interim management and strategic advisory for public administrations and financial institutions.
I am Alain de Bodin de Galembert. I founded AltaValys in Brussels in 2018 to work where the stakes are high: large, sensitive transformation programs under heavy regulatory and budgetary constraints.
Before AltaValys, I led the IT integration of Bank Degroof Petercam, the Microsoft consulting practice in Belgium and Luxembourg, and the PMO of Dexia Asset Management. Since 2018, I have directed programs of €100M and more for the Belgian federal government, at Justice and Foreign Affairs.
How I work: align business and IT, set up clear governance, deliver on time and on budget, and bring teams along with me, up to the executive committee and regulators.
Programs of €100M and more, from scoping to delivery: governance, budget, risk, procurement. Turnaround of distressed programs.
Interim IT leadership through crisis or reorganization: streamline the portfolio, clean up contracts and budgets, prepare the hand-over to internal management.
Business and IT alignment, roadmaps, public procurement (including innovation partnerships), EU Recovery and Resilience funding, GDPR compliance and security.
Engaging stakeholders at every level, up to executive committees: mapping, alignment, communication. Driving user adoption through tangible change management, communication and training plans, supported by the ADKAR method.
Delivering on time and on budget, even under heavy regulatory constraints.
Understand the objectives, constraints and stakeholders. Give a candid assessment.
Prioritize the portfolio, set up governance, budget and risk tracking.
Steer execution day to day, make the trade-offs, report to management and oversight bodies.
Prepare internal teams to take over so the results last beyond the engagement.
